This document is here to inform you about the privacy practices of the RouletteB chat service ("RouletteB"), which are designed to protect your privacy to the maximum reasonable extent. By making use of RouletteB, you accept these practices. This document may be updated from time to time. When changes are made, the effective date at the top will be changed.Chat privacy
Chat messages are screened by an automated system for spam. In general, messages are not stored, but when a message is flagged as spam, it is stored indefinitely, along with the sender's IP address. Select messages may be read by a human being to improve RouletteB's anti-spam software, or for other quality control purposes.
At the beginning of every chat, a record of the following information is stored on RouletteB's servers: the time your chat began, your IP address, a randomly-generated ID tag assigned to your computer, your chat partner's IP address, and your chat partner's randomly-generated ID tag. These records are intended to be used for the purpose of law enforcement, and may also be used to track spammers, and others who pose harm to the site, or violate its rules; or analyzed in aggregate to produce statistical data (e.g., average number of chats started at different times of day).
Webcam images may be captured from RouletteB video chats, uploaded to RouletteB's servers, and monitored for misbehavior. Captured images may also be stored and used to improve RouletteB's monitoring process. Currently, monitoring is only in a testing phase; but even when it is fully implemented, it will not be perfect, and you may still encounter misbehaving users in video chat.Information made available to other chat users
In an RouletteB text chat, only the following information is made available to other chat users:
RouletteB uses Google Analytics to track non-personally-identifying statistical information about site usage. Google provides a browser add-on to opt out of Google Analytics.
